Dear Reader,
My vocation is to write poetry in the key of spirituality. I offer these poems with the hope that they will bring you hope and we can build a community of poetry lovers who live lives of loving kindness.
Each Saturday I will post an original poem inspired by passage of Christian scripture.
Each Wednesday I will post a new poem with a spiritual slant.
The weekend scripture passages will come from the common lectionary readings used in many churches.
I hope I will open a window for you with a the freshening breeze of the Spirit blowing through.
You are invited to be a founding member. Consider making a donation which will help me support myself as a contributing member of the poetry community.
Here’s my first video Holi Poem, My Moron’s Misery.
For when I am weak, then I am strong. 2 Corinthians 12:10 My Moron’s Misery No matter how scrupulous I am I can’t seem to stay out of stupid. My spirit screams, “Medic!” I need to hear a healing story to fix my moron’s misery. I need a soul emetic. Is all this mess just some kind of a test? St. Paul writes the only solution is turn from the abyss dance like a dervish, celebrate my weakness and trust in divine guidance?
