If God Got Alzheimer’s

When the devil had finished every temptation, he departed from him for a time. Jesus returned to Galilee in the power of the Spirit… Luke 4:13-14
Sometimes it seems God has forgotten us
when we are in pain, and nothing makes sense.
God is notorious in His absence.

Has Jesus become Judas?
This is the God we call mysterious
Yet, still, love is all pervasive.

As gravity grounds the earth around the sun
as the earth we tread connects everyone
so is the love of God our atmosphere.
If God got Alzheimer’s, we would all disappear.

In the three-in-one bond of the Lover
and Beloved and their Aspiration
we are all held in their contemplation.
