Epiphany 3.3

Though darkness covers the earth, and thick clouds, the peoples, upon you the Lord will dawn, and over you his glory will be seen. Isaiah 60:2
Centuries ago, I served the altar
of sacred slaughter when the Magi
triangulated their discovery
but no light arose in my gray matter.

Despite my degrees in theology
plus, a pedigree in philosophy
add in my well attuned intuition
still, I never understood “redemption”.

Saturday last my computer crashed.
I rebooted. Voila? My epiphany.
Redemption is creation refreshed,
Jesus punched the cosmic reset key.
