“May I never boast, except in the cross of Christ.” Galatians 6:14
One of my absolute favorites, Frank! Thank you.
As a Sondheim lyric from SUNDAY IN THE PARK WITH GEORGE tersely and generously points out:
“Everything you do
Let it come from you
Then it will be new.
Give us more to see.”
"each disciple finds the mortification
that drives out the devil unique to him
and tunes them to the Spirit’s rhythm
that makes them into a new creation."
Thank you for understanding and expressing this. It's something I've felt often, but not had the words to describe.
Thank you Frank. This Holy Poetry reminds me of a talk I heard by Terry Hershey, speaker and Lay Minister.
“What we do and how we care for others and paths we cross make a difference with one step at a time. This is when we are blessed and Grace step in.”
