So that they may all be one, as you, Father, are in me and I in you, that they also may be in us… so that your love for me may live in them, and I may live in them.” John 17:21;26
As a Catechist I remembered, “ love your students and teach like Jesus did.” Each child with their unique personalities will listen and love you back! This poem brought back loving memories. Thank you!
My thanks to Fr. Greg Boyle and Sr. Elizabeth Johnson who developed the notion of kinship of God's creation instead of the Kingdom of God. Kingdom is based on an ancient theology that used the image of leadership available in the day. Kinship is based on a theology of creation that sees everything in relationship.

What a striking, warm poem, Frank. It’s authentic in a way I did not expect.
Thanks for saying so. Authentic is one of the best things you can say to a poet.
Same for playwrights, Frank. You get to know authentic when you see it.
Thank you, Frank. Your poem had me recalling teachers in my past who were so important and helped change my life. Claire
